The last almond truck of the season rolled out last Thursday 🚛 Big thanks to everyone who helped make this harvest happen! It was nice to get a break before we move onto walnuts.

The caramelized date yogurt bowl isn’t over yet. We paired Painterland Sisters Skyr Yogurt vanilla bean skyr yogurt with Burroughs Family Farms regenerative olive oil and diced almonds, and yes it’s still life changing.

California produces more than 2.66 billion pounds of almonds each year, and the vast majority are conventionally grown. Organic almonds make up less than 1% of production, and Regenerative Organic Alliance certified almonds like ours represent an even smaller slice: less than 0.2%.

How almonds are grown matters. Ours meet organic standards and use regenerative practices designed to build healthier soil, support biodiversity and strengthen ecosystems. We hope that someday, practices like these become the norm rather than the exception.
