We are experimenting and diversified by buying sheep. So far, the goats are winning on clean up after a week of grazing....

86 Spanish doelings, some have a little Savanna influence, but all are out of our pure Spanish nannies. Most born in June and raised on pasture. Their mothers have never seen a jug, dewormer or any vaccines. These will be hardy, good mothering, uniform set of does. The bottom 10% have already been pulled off.

We have been slacking on updating posts on our page! Caught this quick video moving the Nannie’s to a different pasture. We should be through the first cycle of kidding! We will have pure spanish and F1 savanna crosses available this fall. We used colored, full blood savanna bucks so there is a lot more color this year!

The nannie’s aren’t fazed much by the snow. Still out grazing and loving it. No barns out here, just natural shelter. It was -6°F this morning and currently 12°F. Before we know it, bucks will be kicked out!

We are putting the girls to work this year! They have been cleaning up brush and weeds around the place. It’s safe to say they have been enjoying it!
