Hosted my first “Tea Tasting” today for the Surry Garden Club at ! We were tasting herbs that you can easily grow in your garden or forage. I hadn’t had a chance to practice so I wasn’t sure how it would work but it went great! We tried Nettles, Catnip, Sage, Lemon Balm, Chamomile, Peppermint, Tulsi and Rose Petals. Then I invited them to make their own blends and add honey if they liked. The big favorite was and I completely agree!

My favorite form of commerce is gifting. Is it commerce? I don’t know or care. But when someone gifts me something that they would normally charge money for, I’m going to say yes. Our friends at brought us some beautiful, freshly picked mushrooms that I will cook up and eat. I made sure .e.schofield left with fresh eggs and some lions mane extract. Then I went and pick some fresh nettles that are growing because my friend Wendy gave me a rooted plant that is a super producer. I’ll make some nettles extract, a vinegar and some tea that I will share with others.
