Out brush-hogging with my entourage. The Cattle Egret’s and Mississippi Kites love when we mow around the farm. They eat like kings on the grasshoppers and other bugs. The Egrets just follow me around and the Kites dive bomb me catching grasshoppers out of the air.

Last weekend to come to our farm for the 2025 season.

As an owner of Elves Tree Farm, Cathey works year-round to maintain the operation, raising seeds and saplings into full-sized Christmas trees.

We love schools that visit our farm. We concluded our 2025 school tours this week and I have come to the conclusion that I love when schools visit our farm. This year was really special because we had a lot of parents come with the students. I love to see when parents can tag along with their kids. It started during pumpkin time and finished up with Christmas tree tours. Thanks again to all the schools and parents that came to our farm. I have a attached a letter from one of our teachers that really made my day.

Our tree is up, how about yours? We have a lightly flocked Nordmann Fir this year. Even our cat gets to enjoy the season. Come see us this week if you still need a Christmas tree. We have Frasers, Nobles and Nordmann’s in a verity of sizes.

We will be open this weekend with pre cut trees, flocked trees and plenty of things in our gift shop to choose from.
Pre Cuts in Frasers, Nobles and Nordmann from table tops to 10’ tall. Our pre cuts are always kept in water.
Gift shop has nativity sets, snow globes, ornaments and wreaths.

We cut down the tree for the Texas Senate on Sunday. Here is a short video showing the tree being hauled out of the patch and a glimpse of the 2027 tree.
