Cobs with Jobs, a peaceful evening.

SD Gumdrop (SD Knomeo x SD Shakira) is teaching RHR Wanda Bea my Lucky Lady (SD Alfie x SD Dora) the ropes. It’s hard to believe that Wanda is ONLY 11 months old! She’s already darn near the same height as Gumdropo and is dripping in silky clean feather! She’s gonna be a hella nice driving cob someday… and I almost can’t wait for it!

Sometimes in life we have to do things that are really difficult… today is one of those days… We are downsizing, for so many hard reasons… We have 2 pretty Amazing boys (both Stallions right now but are scheduled to be gelded on Feb 14) we are currently looking for forever homes for both boys.

RHR The Joker coming 4 year old
Truly lives up to his name. He is full of life and ready for a job. He is 14.3 hands tall and gangly right now, he has really started to develop into a BEAUTIFUL boy! He will make someone a very special team mate. He’s very willing, extremely Beautiful moving, Amazing conformation, biggest bone on our ranch. He is out of 2 Extremely accomplished horses SD Double Stuff (aka Oreo) and WW Roisin Dubh (aka Rosie) both of them are laid back and have always taken care of their humans. Joker is chip off the old block. I believe he has gotten the best of both his parents best traits. He looks a little rough in the pictures I have right now, will try and get more pictures of him when its better weather…
He is not registered yet. But will be registered prior to leaving and will be registered in new owner name so they will not have to worry about that. He is easy to handle. Does everything expected of a horse that is not broke to ride he stands for the Farrier. He can be bathed, groomed cross Tide trailer loads well, respectful when leading him, halters well. These pictures were taken last June his hair has grown outa lot.

SD Alfie 15 year old with a proven show and breeding record. He is pssm neg. He’s a been there done that boy. As an amateur, I’m able to compete with him.  he has impeccable manners inside the show ring and outside the show ring. As a proven stallion, he always passed down good feather, good conformation, and the most Amazing personality. He really is a Stallion who truly acts like a gelding. He is my main riding horse and best friend.. he takes care of me and is always there for extra love just when you need it. And he is Absolutely the most Beautiful boy EVER to look at. He will be one to get you noticed in the show ring.
He is out of SD Murphy and SD Pink Dolly. He is registered both GVHS and GHRA… he is 14.1 hands tall.
SD Alfie is broke to ride and drive .
He has a solid walk/trot needs work on canter but can do it.
He might need a little refresher on driving, I haven’t driven him in years . But I don’t think it will be hard to get him back at it.

This boy is a once in a lifetime horse❤️

You know that feeling when you have had a mare that you have never had trouble getting in foal, and then they start having issues like collecting eggs not ovulating completely… well we have been dealing with that on one mare. We have had her for sale for the last year… no bites really… lots of interest, but no deal made yet… as a owner I will not give up on any of my animals… I will always keep trying to figure out what can be done to fix whatever the issue is… well long story short… this fall our mare decided to start cycling again correctly. And we decided to try and get her bred… well I am beside myself with joy… she is now in foal to our stallion!!! And they throw some amazing bay foals!!! SD GJWS Success Day and our Amazing Boy SD Alfie!!!

In search of a new ranch hand 4 days a week and when we take vacation in exchange for:
-We will provide a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment with laundry.
-All utilities including internet
-Apartment can come furnished or unfurnished

Job must haves and details:
-Must have extensive horse experience
-Must be reliable
-Must be able to get along well with big dogs
-set schedule with every other weekend off
-work takes you no more than 3 hours a day with 75%+ no more than 30 minutes a day when horses are out in pasture.

Basic duties include but not limited to:
-feeding horses
-keeping water tanks filled
-cleaning stalls (when it is hot or we have to stall a horse for other reasons)
-keeping barn clean
-keeping feed room clean
-dragging pastures every couple of months

Right now we have 7 horses. We will be aiming to get down to 4 horses asap.
