Since I was a small child I have wanted a farm. I can remember being on a field trip in 1st or 2nd grade to a local Dairy Farm. The farmer asked who wanted to try to milk the cow. I raised my hand and said "I DO!" I don't think anyone else in the class wanted to but I did. I was the type of child who wanted every animal out there. I have always been interested in the old ways of doing things. Spinning wool, learning about medicinal herbs, hand dipping candles. I self taught myself and read books on farming animals and crops. There is a certain satisfaction of planting a seed in the ground, watching it pop out of the ground a grow and flower and then to bear an edible product, and to be able to have other people enjoy eating a homegrown product. That is my goal...................

So… we took down the tent over the farm stand. I’m leaving items on the stand til about 1:00 this afternoon until it starts to rain. Looks like it will be raining all this weekend. If anyone wants anything this weekend give me a call. Everyone please stay safe. Remember better rain than snow 😉
