I know someone out there is looking for a handsome Olive Egger fella! These two boys are looking for homes. They're seven weeks old and have already been moved outside. The frizzled boy is sweet and docile...he will follow you around, and even made friends with one of our cats, while his brother is a bit more reserved but has the most expressive eyes. Neither one is showing signs of aggression or dominance.

My Sage/Olive Egger chicks are now 2 weeks old and I've reduced them to just $5 each.

This is the lowest I'll offer them for before growing them out and keeping the pullets for my own flock.

🐣 Hatch date: May 16-17
🥚 Silverudd’s Blue hen x frizzled bantam Cochin rooster
💚 Hens will lay colored eggs; roosters will carry the gene
✨ Straight run - 5 of them are frizzled

$5 chicks are sold as a random selection chosen by me.
If you specifically want frizzled chicks, they are $8 each and sold separately on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you've been thinking about adding some colorful egg layers to your flock, now is the time. Once they're gone - or once I decide to keep them, this opportunity is gone.

These chicks are a cross between a Silverudd’s Blue hen and a frizzled bantam Cochin rooster. This pairing was intentionally selected to produce offspring that:

• Carry one copy of the blue egg gene
– future hens will lay colored eggs
– roosters will carry the gene

• May have frizzled feathering (50% chance)
• Have feathered legs and feet
• Will be blue, black, or splash in color
• Tend to be alert, friendly birds
• Are not true bantams, but will likely mature smaller than standard-sized breeds

Available:
🔹 6 blue chicks
🔹 5 black chicks

Straight run only.
