We are excited for farmers market season that is about ready to kick off. The year we are going to vend at the Hub Farmers Market on Wednesday evenings in Lincoln and the Crete Nebraska Farmers Market on Thursday afternoon/evenings. We will also be at Hallam Fest this year. Come see us and all of the other vendors.
In addition to all of our traditional cuts of heritage pork, we have added regular and pepper jack snack sticks to our list as well as chicken, duck, and quail eggs. We look forward to seeing last year’s customers again and meeting new ones.

I saw these on a Coturnix quail group the other day and thought I would post it here. These are just hardboiled quail eggs that have been dyed with normal Easter egg dye. The natural markings on the quail eggs make for some very unique, bite sized Easter eggs. If you want to try these yourselves, we have plenty of quail eggs available at our self serve farm stand at 8383 W Pioneers Blvd, Denton NE 68339.

Our layers are in springtime laying mode so we have plenty chicken, duck, and quail eggs available at the stand at 8383 W Pioneers Blvd between Denton and Emerald. We’ve started making pickled quail eggs to keep up with the quail egg production. These make a great bite sized, protein packed snack.
The weather is beautiful this weekend. Take a drive out to the country and pick up some farm fresh eggs.

We haven’t posted for a while, so here is some cuteness for your day. Nine one week and a half old piglets from our Gloucester Old Spot sow Penelope and our Berkshire boar Bandit.
Some of these will be available as whole or half hogs next fall. Keep us in mind.
We plan on vending at the Crete and Hub Farmers markets this season with heritage pork; chicken, duck, and quail eggs, and whatever produce the garden gives us this season.
In the meantime, we have eggs at the self serve farm stand at 8383 W Pioneers Blvd. We also have heritage pork available. Contact us for details.
