Come see us at the Hub Farmers Market today from 5:00 - 7:00. Looks like the rain will be gone and it will be nice evening to get out. We are back from vacation and excited to get back to market at The Hub and Crete Farmers Market this Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
We are having a special at all three markets this week - 3lbs of bacon for $27 (normally $10/lb). Come get some of our bacon add it to tomatoes, lettuce, and homemade bread from the other vendors and have some awesome BLTs this week.

Come see us at the Crete Nebraska Farmers Market at Crete Ace Hardware today from 8:00 to 11:00.
We will have sample of breakfast sausage.
Hopefully some of the produce vendors will have tomatoes and you can get some bacon from us for BLTs this weekend.
Just a note we will be on vacation this week, so we won’t be at the Hub on Wednesday or the Thursday Crete market.

It’s Independence Day weekend so you know you need some meat for the grill. We suggest pork chops, shoulder steaks, or cutlets from our heritage breed hogs. These pigs take longer to reach market weight than commercial breeds so the meat is juicier, more flavorful, and has a higher fat content than “the other white meat” pork you find in the grocery store.

We will be at the Hub Farmers Market on Wednesday and the Crete Market on Thursday. We will have plenty of cuts to choose from, but feel free to send us a PM to order ahead and we will have your pork ready to pick up.

“Kitty” our shop cat who showed and stayed around this winter had six kittens the week after Easter. We have homes for three of them, but still looking for homes for the black and white “tuxedo” girl and the all black brother and sister. Litter box trained, wormed and first shots done. These kittens are very sweet and well socialized. They could be indoor cats or barn cats if you need your own. Send us a PM for details.

Check out the amazing steaks we got from our friend Nolan at Morning Sky Acres at the Hub Farmers Market last week. We are looking forward to grilling these up along with some of our own pork chops this weekend for Fathers Day.
