We may only have six lagers on tap - but with all the different ways we pour them, there’s 26 different ways to drink our beer.

Reminiscing on one of our most competitive Mlíko chugging contest to date… we crowned a new winner this year, even with our two-time champ making it all the way to the finals!

Huge thanks to everyone who participated, kept us entertained, and helped raise money for the Michael James Jackson Foundation for Brewing & Distilling, which supports technical education and career advancement for Black, Indigenous, and people of color in the brewing and distilling industries.

One of the first signs of fall at the taproom is the release of our Edelweiss 12°! Using Edelweiss malt, this version of our standard 12º highlights a unique malt base with notes of honey, melon, and a biscuity finish.

Edelweiss is brewed exactly the same as our standard 12°, however uses a malt grown in Indiana at - which has a very interesting back story. Caleb from Sugar Creek traveled to a seed bank in Europe quite a few years ago to source a Haná malt which had not previously been planted or malted since the 1940s. This malt was originally the landrace varietal from the Czech Republic and using it almost feels like stepping back in time a little bit. Excited to have this back on tap!
