Three days, three reasons to get yourself to Second Dawn before the weekend:

🎸 TONIGHT | Live Music + Cub Scout Pop-Up The Lounging Dog House Band kicks off at 6:30 PM. Grab a b**r, settle in, and enjoy some live music. Plus, the Cub Scouts will be popping up at 6 PM selling popcorn if you need a snack for the show!

🍻 THURSDAY | Aurora Road Runners Potluck Aurora Road Runners meets at 6 PM, followed by a potluck dinner. Get your miles in, bring something to share, and stick around for the good company.

🎲 FRIDAY | Game Night: Skull We’re playing Skull at 7 PM! Bluff your way to victory, call someone’s bluff, and enjoy 10% off drinks for players. No experience necessary, just a willingness to risk it all.

We’re celebrating the nation’s largest b**r festival with TWO new b**r releases:

🐙Fresh Coast IPA is back! Our fresh-hopped, Mosaic-forward West Coast IPA brings the harvest straight to your glass.

💡Terpene Kinetics is a special IPA brewed with CH003, a hop from Crosby Hops’ advanced breeding program. We can’t wait for you to experience this one.
This time of year always gets us a little sentimental.

The countdown to GABF coincides with the harvest of two of b**r’s most essential ingredients: barley and hops. It’s a chance to reflect on the incredible people, hard work, and infrastructure behind every harvest. We’re sharing a few images celebrating the folks who dedicate their lives to growing and harvesting the ingredients that bring us so much joy.

We especially love the simple, powerful motto of our partners royfarms and Crosby Hops:
No People, No Farm, No B**r.

Cheers to everyone who grows our barley and hops, gets those ingredients into our brewery, and ultimately makes it possible for us to share great b**r with all of you. None of this happens without you.

PROST! 🍻 Today we’re doing something a little different.

Join us from 1–5 PM for our first-ever Festbier Service, bringing a little German b**r hall tradition to Second Dawn.

Never experienced Kölsch-style service? Here’s the deal: order your Festbier Service at the bar, grab your coaster and your first 8 oz pour of For the Rest of Us Festbier, then sit back and relax. We’ll keep the cold pours coming as you finish each one. No need to reorder—we’ll keep track of your b**rs on your coaster.

Ready to call it? Put your coaster on top of your glass. Settle up at the register when you’re ready. Just don’t lose that coaster (seriously, it’s a $50 replacement fee).

And because Festbier deserves a proper snack situation, we’re teaming up with Styria Bakery for mini pretzel bites with cheese and Steel Horse mustard, snacking boards, and big pretzel specials.

Fresh hop season starts now, and we’re kicking it off with a banger. Meet Cone Drop, an American IPA made with fresh Centennial and Amarillo hops from our friends at Crosby Hops. Using their cryogenically frozen CGXNUVO hops, we’re bringing peak-freshness Oregon hops straight to Colorado. Expect candied orange, grapefruit zest, and pine.

Fresh hops wait for no one. Come drink this one now, and then stick around for open mic at 6. Cone drop. Mic drop. One excellent First Friday in the ACAD.
