On this day in 1951, Ty (Tad’s Dad) and Mimi (Tad’s Mom) began a marriage that would grow into so much more than a family.

Their life together was built on love, friendship, service, laughter, and a table that always seemed to have room for one more. Years later, that same spirit would live on through Ty's famous chili recipe and the traditions it helped create.

Today, we're remembering two remarkable people whose legacy continues to bring people together, one bowl at a time. ❤️ Happy Anniversary, Ty & Mimi.
