Potter Highlands Produce

The 2016 season is underway here at Potter Highlands Produce! We have onions, celeriac, artichokes, and thyme nestled under the grow lights.

New this year - Potter Highlands Produce is selling CSA (community supported agriculture) shares. Our CSA program will last for 18 weeks - each week CSA share members will receive one crate of whatever is in season.

Sad that the season is slowly winding down? Not here! Farmer Lexi is signed up for the "Smart Greenhouses: A Guide to Year-Round Rocky Mountain Growing" lecture that is happening at Denver Botanic Gardens on Thursday, October 8th.

Let's see how long we can make the season last!

Tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, kale, chard, sorrel, bok choy, carrots, onions, beets, basil, tarragon, rosemary, papalo, thyme, sage, chives, and oregano today at FARMCAD (1600 Pierce Street).

Expect more of the same tomorrow at The Farmers Market at Highlands Square!

Today we'll be at FARMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design at 1600 Pierce Street) from 10 am - 2 pm.

Tomorrow we'll be at the Highlands Square Farmers Market (32nd and Lowell) from 9 am - 1 pm.

Here's a sneak peek at some of our fall crops: bok choy, pac choi, spinach, arugula, cabbage, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts.

Hopefully everything gets to be a good size before our first frost...

Tomatoes in just about every color and every size at the The Farmers Market at Highlands Square tomorrow (9 am - 1 pm at 32nd & Lowell).

We'll also have plenty of cucumbers, summer squash, kale, chard, basil, thyme, tarragon, sage, and papalo.

Papalo? It's an herb best described as tasting somewhat like arugula, cilantro, and mint. Yes, you definitely want some!

I finished seeding the fall crops today - spinach, arugula, bok choy, turnips, radish, and kohlrabi.

Now we'll just have to wait and see what kind of fall we're going to have this year...

We are at FARMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design) today from 10 am - 2 pm.

There are lots of fun things to do at this market - face painting, bouncy house, crafts, food trucks, and some great vendors!
