October is Be An Angel Month!🧡

All month long, participating restaurants are donating a portion of their sales to the Colorado Restaurant Foundation’s Angel Relief Fund, which provides critical financial assistance to restaurant workers facing unexpected hardships, from serious illness and injury to natural disasters and family emergencies.

Supporting Colorado’s restaurant community is as easy as enjoying a delicious meal at a participating restaurant. So make those dinner plans, try somewhere new, and help us give back to the people who serve us every day!

The Michelin Guide, the oldest restaurant rating system in the world, first expanded to Colorado in 2023. Today, nine Colorado restaurants have earned a Michelin star, and one Colorado restaurant holds two stars.

Stars are awarded by Michelin Guide inspectors who operate anonymously, and who base their decisions on ingredient quality, mastery of culinary techniques, harmony of flavors, chef personality, and consistency. One star indicates a very good restaurant in its category worth stopping for, and two stars indicate excellent cooking worth a detour, with refined cooking techniques and standout flavors.

Colorado restaurants have received many Michelin Special Awards, and we are proud to have Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants across the state, too. In this post, we are featuring the 10 Colorado restaurants that currently have a star. ⭐

Being an angel this October is easy... all you have to do is dine out! 😇

From October 1–31, restaurants and bars across Colorado are giving back to the industry by donating a portion of their sales to the Colorado Restaurant Foundation’s Angel Relief Fund, which provides critical financial assistance to restaurant workers facing unexpected hardship.

The Angel Relief Fund has supported Colorado restaurant workers through injuries, illness, unexpected loss, wild fires, floods, COVID, and other life-changing circumstances. For workers who suddenly find themselves unable to work or struggling to make ends meet, these grants can provide a much-needed safety net.

The CRA Women in Hospitality Summit is next week, Tuesday, September 29!

We are thrilled to announce our panelists for the afternoon panel discussion: “The Power of Resilient Leadership.” It will be a candid conversation moderated by our very own VP of Communication Denise Mickelsen, followed by a Q&A about navigating change, leading through uncertainty, building strong teams, and creating sustainable careers.

In addition to the panel discussion, the Summit will feature a keynote address from Emilie Aries, CEO and Founder of Bossed Up; workshops led by Chrisin Marvin and Jim Hargrove; complimentary breakfast, lunch, and happy hour; and a networking reception with free tarot readings.

Exciting news: Today, the MICHELIN Guide revealed the first-ever statewide selection for Colorado.

The 2026 selection includes one new MICHELIN Star restaurant: Chef Johnny Curiel’s Milpero, located in Denver.

There are also three new Bib Gourmand restaurants, which awards places known for great food at a great value: Annette in Aurora, and Pig and Tiger and Rougarou in Denver.

The full restaurant selection across the state now celebrates 63 restaurants spanning 22 different cuisines (listed in the post above)!

Exploring some of Colorado’s landmark and legacy restaurants! 🏔️

These restaurants have each left their mark, from more than a century of history at Aspen’s Red Onion and iconic Western dining at The Fort to the unmistakable pink palace of Casa Bonita, the legendary Cherry Cricket, and Colorado-born brands like Chipotle and Snooze.

They’ve hosted presidents and musicians, survived challenging times, created traditions, and introduced pieces of Colorado to the rest of the world.
