We opened on June 2nd, 2014. I had a rough idea, a lot of hope, and my dad Randy willing to bet on both of us. Somehow we’re still here — and honestly, the beer was never the best part. It was always the people.
So first off — thank you. To this neighborhood that took us in: you brought your kids, your dogs, your first dates, your worst days and your best news. You made this place yours.
And to our crew — you’re the whole thing. Greg’s been on the brewdeck since day one. Jules runs the back of the house and keeps it all organized. JT’s been out repping us since year two and he’s one of the best in Colorado, no exaggeration. Christian holds the whole place down and knows what you all need before you do. We would be lost without him! Our bartenders pull your pints, and the Gates kitchen runs the window and the food — so you already know their faces, and they already know your order.
These aren’t just “employees” to me. They’ve got families, kids, dogs, whole lives they’re building one shift at a time. Same with Paige, who jumped in last year and basically became the mom of this place.
Here’s the thing I really want you to hear: when you tip, that’s not going in some jar. It goes straight to these people — the ones who show up every day and make this feel like home.
12 years because of you guys. Let’s keep it going. 🍻
