Yesterday we attended the New Jersey Composting Council Organics Waste Management Summit at Rutgers New Jersey campus, an event we're proud to sponsor each year! This one day summit is a premier day of presentations and networking with organics processors, composters, haulers, regulators, academics, organics waste management professionals, sustainable community organizations, and nonprofits. This year was another huge success as a sold out event with 16 exhibitors and over 100 attendees and the energy was palpable!

We also welcomed new president Matthew Wasserman and thanked Jairo Gonzalez outgoing president and founder for his dedicated service! Food scraps and certified compostable products (like ours ) will be collected by Java's Compost and will be processed at the Ag Choice facility in Sussex County. Thank you again for another incredible summit!

Our team had a great week at the Biodegradable Products Institute Summit in Detroit! We connected with attendees, listened to keynote speakers, and went on local tours to see the sustainability and composting efforts happening in the area. We explored how knowledge, framework, and protocol can work together to create systems-level change. Thank you to BPI for creating space for these important conversations!
