Yesterday we went to the NYS Fair for Leonard to participate in the NYBPA Supreme Female Show. A Supreme Female beef cow is picked from each county fair across New York is picked and qualifies for this show. This is our first time ever going to State Fair and we were told it is the first time in a long time that anyone has come from Broome County. We didn’t make it back to the final heat but Daisy was a perfect girl and I think she looked amazing! Thank you to Nicole and Lonny Schaefer and his girls for coming up and cheering Leonard on! And for helping clip Daisy to get her ready! We appreciate you all! Now here’s to hoping Daisy has a heifer calf in December so we can do this all over again!

Sunday was a busy fun day! We attended the ADGA show at the Delaware County Fair. The does all did well and I finally figured out the sweet spot for Mulan to fill, which landed us Reserve Champion of Nigerian Dwarfs. It’s our first ADGA ribbon! 🥹
