As we’ve renovated, gone through pictures, and all that stuff, we wanted to include some images from the past. We have a new, large patio door which opens to the back porch, which is in the direction of where the barn used to be. We had some old pictures restored and improved which show the barn along with some characters. We put together this collection of pictures on the wall next to the door looking out where the barn used to be.

Someone asked for a photo of the house with the snow. This past weekend was really our first snow of the season that amounted to anything.

When I was a kid here at the farm, my dad & I cut a tree from the woods and made a flag pole out of it. Every day we’d unfold the flag together and put it up and at the end of the day take it down and fold it in a triangle. Somewhere i have a picture of that but as organized as I am, I can’t find that one. Today, Jason E. Behary & I completed a project we’ve been working on to install 3 aluminum flag poles and create a flag garden. The American flag is atop a 30’ pole. The New York State flag and the Pride flag are on 25’ poles. They are grouped together with a new garden at the base and lit with solar lights at the top of each pole.

And so it begins! Here we go... Yea!

Today we added a 16’ dock at our beaver pond. Never had that there before. Also probably need a real/better name for that pond. Thinking maybe something black duck since the concrete dam was installed to help preserve the environment for black ducks. Funny though….I don’t recall ever seeing a black duck there lol.

We recently completed renovation of the bathroom in the area we are currently using while other renovations are underway. The pictures in this album show how the bathroom looked when it was originally built, later renovated, and now in 2021.
