Dave and I are both good cooks. Because of this, you will rarely find us going out to eat. The few times we do usually end in disappointment with us saying, "We could have done that meal better / tastier at home"!

It is nice however, to have that occasional reprieve from cooking and cleaning... So when the offer was made to go check out Rustic Roots Kitchen in West Charleston, I was not going to refuse! We had been hearing and seeing many good reviews about Alyssa's cooking.

We brought home two nights worth of suppers... Stout Braised Short Rib Cottage Pies and Maple BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese. Both nights, we enjoyed flavors that we had never tasted. We will certainly find our way back to Alyssa's... Thank you Rustic Roots Kitchen!

The decreasing availability of steers has forced us to make one small change in our business.
We apologize to our local food trucks when we say we no longer can provide you with bulk wholesale.
This is in all fairness for our regular customers to be able to have ground burger available when they come shop.
Yes, we do have ground burger on hand... You are welcome.
We will, however, have a limit of 25 pounds per purchase.

Some are aware and others may not know... We use the alphabet to keep track of how old our Beef are and how many years in business we have been. So with our 6th year brings the 6th letter 'F' and a whole new season of names... Meet 'First' and in just one week she was joined by another sister, 'Foremost' and a brother, 'Frost'. 🙂
