Another well water problem solved by the experienced professionals at Greco & Haines! 👨‍🔧👨‍🔧

A customer called us because of low water pressure throughout the home. Our senior mechanic and junior mechanic arrived on site, evaluated the well water system, and quickly found not one — but two problems:

⚠️ The existing shallow well jet pump was worn out
⚠️ The existing cold water storage tank was undersized

Time to get to work! 💪🔧

Our technicians:

🔧 Installed a new shallow well jet pump with all new fittings
💧 Installed a properly sized 44-gallon cold water storage tank
🛠️ Installed the proper mounting bracket to securely mount the new jet pump to the new tank
📏 Set the system pressure properly at 40–60 PSI
🔄 Cycled the system several times to confirm proper operation
✅ Checked everything over — ALL GOOD!

The result? Proper water pressure, properly sized equipment, a professionally installed system — and another happy Greco & Haines customer! 💧🏡😊

WHEN THE ORIGINAL ROUTE WON’T WORK ANYMORE... EXPERIENCE FINDS ANOTHER WAY! 💪

This was definitely not your everyday well water service call!

Our customer was left without water in the home after the existing offset well lines began leaking. A deck had been installed after the original well system installation, making access to the existing route difficult and requiring an entirely new approach.

That’s when experience really matters.

One of our lead mechanics and his apprentice evaluated the situation, developed a new route for the system, and got to work.

Take a look at these pictures — they tell quite a story! 👀

🔨 Drilled through the home’s foundation to establish a new entry point
⛏️ A new trench was excavated to reroute the system to another side of the house
💧 Installed a new water line from the well to the home
⚡ Installed and rerouted the electrical line for the well pump
🔧 Discovered an older “half-moon” style pitless adapter in the well and replaced it with a standard pitless adapter
🏡 Properly cemented and sealed the foundation pe*******on on both the inside and outside
🔄 Restarted and cycled the system
✅ Everything working properly — WATER RESTORED! 💦👏

Even for a seasoned mechanic and his apprentice, this was an interesting and challenging job — but challenging well water problems are exactly where experience, training, proper equipment, and good old-fashioned know-how make all the difference.

There was no hesitation. No temporary shortcut. The problem was evaluated, a new plan was developed, and the job was completed properly so our customer could get back to having the water they depend on every day.

On this project, one of our experienced technicians installed a new 40,000-grain metered water softener, complete with one of our standard drip pans, along with a new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system to improve this home's overall water quality.

These before-and-after photos tell the story of another successful installation completed by one of our experienced service technicians.

Our customer was experiencing brown water throughout the home, and during a routine maintenance visit, our technician discovered the existing water treatment equipment had not been serviced in more than six years. Over time, both treatment units had become completely compacted with iron, greatly reducing their effectiveness.

After discussing the best long-term solution with the homeowner, replacement was recommended.

✔️ Installed a new combination acid neutralizer and iron removal filter

Our team was called to help a new customer whose well water system included a deteriorated cold water storage tank, an aging submersible well pump dating back to the early 1990s, no water filtration, very hard water, noticeable iron, and a well casing that needed to be raised above grade.

The solution? A complete system upgrade designed for improved performance, reliability, and water quality.
