Today in 2023, I went and picked up the John Deere 2510.
What makes this tractor so important isn’t just the machine itself, but the memory tied to it. Years ago, my dad and I saw this very tractor sitting at the dealership while he was making trips to the hospital four times a week for treatment. We stopped, looked it over, and he said how much he’d love to have it someday. At the time, it was only a wish — I didn’t have the money, and life was heavy.
Then in February of 2023 two years after that day at the dealership, I finally came up with the money to buy it.
Now that John Deere 2510 is home on the farm, right where it belongs, and it’s being used every day as our main garden tractor. Every time I fire it up, it’s more than just work getting done — it’s a reminder of my dad, those long days, and a promise kept. 💚🚜
This tractor isn’t just iron and paint. It’s memories, love, and a piece of him still working the land with me
