Thank you for all the great runs this weekend. You were the best guests! Everyone did great with the new AKC rules on dogs in vehicles. Thank you for leaving the farm clean.

GPGRC says they will run the Snow Bunny Fast CAT in December. Mark your calendars Dec 19/20. Until then we look forward to hosting the CAT here October 31-Nov 1.

Thank you to our field crew! The guys mowed the track last night. This is the greenest, lushest August grass EVER!

We will be ready to go tomorrow (Friday) at 4pm. Gates open at 7:30am on Saturday morning.

Alyshia Funk has emailed the run list. Please read the email!! It contains important info for you. (see first comment)

Reminder: We will follow the new AKC policy on unattended dogs in vehicles. You can’t leave them closed up in a running car. This is a run and go event. Bring shade and water for your dog! We will have a cooling station available.

The temps are looking like low 60s for Saturday and Sunday coursing! Maybe some showers but that makes it ideal running weather.

Friday night is nearly full for both events. Please stay in touch with trial secretary if you are coming as day of entry (Alyshia Funk)

We have room on Saturday and Sunday for day of entries. Come out and enjoy the fun.

We are a group that welcomes new dogs and new people. Need help? Have questions? Ask!

Fun run practice is Saturday only at the end of the trial. Approximately lunchtime. $10 per run and we have the timer on for you. We also give a Fun Run ribbon if your dog gets down the track. We all had to start somewhere in this sport and we love helping new dogs get started.

The weather forecast looks fabulous for coursing next weekend. 60 degrees in the morning!

We are excited to welcome GPGRC back to the farm. Day of entries are accepted until events fill. Fun Runs on Saturday only.

AKC Fast CAT - 6 events -3 days
Friday Aug 21 - evening
Saturday Aug 22 - morning followed by practice
Sunday Aug 23 - morning (no practice)

We run a 160 yard track. (60 yards of run out beyond finish line - all track on natural grass)

We run rain or shine (but will take a safety break as required by lightning). We love our lure operators and don’t want them on a metal ladder in ⚡️

There is a portable toilet on site.
The Golden Retriever Club usually has a small food booth with coffee etc. and light food by donation. (Thank you for your support)

Check in at secretary / roll call when you arrive. If you have two runs - you need to come back to roll call before second run.

You get your time/ribbon at Secretary desk after you are done. Take a fun photo for yourself at the Photo Booth!

All official times are posted at Secretary desk.

If you are new to this sport— wait until the entry line is less crowded and ask for help.
We want you and your dog to have a good time.
