We’ll miss the joy of seeing you pull up, catching up on life, and sharing peaches and stories. Thank you for being part of our summers—we’ve made lifelong friends, and we’re so grateful.

Grandpa's Chair....

As the years passed by grandpa started slowing down and it was a lot more work for him to sell peaches every summer. However, he didn't want to disappoint his customers, so he kept going.

In time, his favorite spot in the peach barn was sitting in this chair - giving him a space to sit and visit with all the customers that came his way.

Grandpa Loved Peaches - but he Loved getting to see the People who came to buy his peaches even more. My dad took on that roll as well.

Thank you to Everyone who came by and stayed to chat with both my grandpa and my dad! YOU are the reason Rowe's Peaches have been going for over 70 years!

Rowe’s Peaches

Rowe's peaches was founded in 1953 by Robert Rowe. Robert was the owner of the Red & White Grocery in DeRuyter NY.

Robert began getting peaches from the Seneca lake area, but after a few years realized the quality of peaches coming from that area was inconsistent. In 1961 he begin getting his fruit from PA, just outside of Gettysburg. In the mid-80's he developed a relationship with a Mennonite grower in the Biglerville area, and we have been working with the same family ever since.

Robert passed away in 2014, and Rowe's Peaches is now run by his eldest son, Charles. Charles and the family continue to work with the same farmers, using the same care to transport, store and sort through the fruit before we present it to you for sale.
