Come out tomorrow and Saturday and see us Salvador Bakes for the BackRoads & ByWays Tour.
Our location is pavement the whole way. No muddy gravel roads!!
I will have our Elderberry Syrup Kits, Roasted Chestnuts, Fresh Raw Chestnuts and some great Vintage Cast Iron.
The weather will finally be beautiful!
***If you want to pick up a large order of fresh chestnuts you must message me first. I will not have huge amounts with me.

Our orchard has been taking her time giving up nuts this season. I would expect to have plenty of pounds available by the end of the week. Message me for orders!

This is shaping up to be a very wet and muddy Chestnut harvest.
If your family stores nuts for eating during the winter months, you need to be careful who you buy from. Make sure your seller sanitizes and properly dries (yet not over dries) their nuts.
One moldy nut will ruin the bunch!
At No Coast Farm / Central Iowa Chestnuts we clean and sanitize every single nut using safe organic principles. We follow that with a time tested drying process that keeps the nuts fresh. Then straight to cold storage.
I don’t feed my family chemically treated, dried out or moldy food. You shouldn’t either!
