The farm stand at 5180 SW 56th St is OPEN, starting tomorrow, August 20th!!
This is a self serve stand offering fresh produce and canned goods.
Dill pickles
Pickled jalapeños
Pickled banana peppers
Dried Basil
And for produce:
Cherry tomatoes
Jalapeños
Banana peppers
Green peppers
Cucumbers
We have been working so hard this spring and summer to get this up and running (in our non existent spare time). Thank you Boone Lord for helping me get the chicken coop converted and looking nice. We are so excited to finally open up to our local community!!

The giant pumpkin contest at the Iowa State Fair was today. Boone and Memphis earned 6th place for the second year in a row! Grandma entered the contest late in the season and earned 4th place. Not bad for her first year!! Congratulations everyone!

Chioggia Beets- $0.50/piece
These beets are beautiful with a bullseye pattern inside and a sweet mild flavor.
They are wonderful when roasted or boiled and tossed in a salad.
The greens are also edible! Eat them raw in a salad or sautéed like kale.
