The Tea House — opens Friday, July 10
8 Degrees is changing.
For eight years we have served Des Moines from this corner of Drake. Now we are becoming something more deliberate. Over the coming months, most of our tea menu will step aside for The Tea House — a new line of fine floral teas and light floral milk teas, built around the leaf itself.
Round one begins with three teas:
No.8 Jasmine — snow scented, night after night, until the leaf carries the flower
Camellia Oolong — smooth and quietly floral, the base of our fruit teas
Osmanthus Oolong — golden petals, notes of honey and apricot
Our leaves come to us directly from the tea farms. No distributors, no middle shelf — just the source, so the quality is never a question.
Every drink starts there. You will taste the tea as the soul of each sip.
Welcome to modern tea.

Opening week — buy one, get one on Friday, July 10. Buy two, get one through July 19. And any two Tea House drinks bring home a Lucky Fortune Cat, while supplies last.

For the past year, we've been working on something new — a full line of premium teas, built on tea leaves sourced directly from the tea farms themselves. No distributors. No middlemen. Just the farm, the leaf, and us.

Every cup brewed at the right temperature, served cold, with nothing added that doesn't belong.

This is more than a new menu. 8 Degrees is shifting — toward a quieter, more intentional way of making tea. We're excited to share it with you soon.
