As a small business owner closing today is an incredibly difficult decision. I’m not feeling well and would like to ask for your support as being closed for the day can be a set back.

SHOP CLOSED FRIDAY, MAY 1ST in solidarity with International Workers’ Day, the call for a nationwide strike, and our public schools asking us to Stand Up for Public Education, among many other important events to raise awareness and demand change.

No work, no school, no shopping. When they won’t listen to our voices, we must speak with our labor & dollars.

International Workers’ Day Rally & March at 12pm at Cowles Commons, 221 Walnut Street, Des Moines.

Stand with public schools by finding an event near you at maydaystrong.org. Many DSM public schools are having events staggered throughout the morning.
