Lord of the Beans Great Tasting, Organic/Fair Trade Coffee We continue to work to maintain a presence in the Park Ridge community.

Lord of the Beans was founded by Ralph & Ramona Donovan, two coffee lovers residing in Chicago's northwest suburbs whose endless search for great tasting coffee led them to roast their own organic beans. We use only 100% pure certified organic arabica beans and roast them to enhance the natural flavor of the bean's origin. We made our retail debut at the Park Ridge Farmer's Market this past summer

(2011) only to find that we were not alone in our quest for a rich, flavorful brew without the "burnt" taste. Our coffee is currently sold at Garden on the Run (Park Ridge).

We have 2 returning coffee favorites back on our menu!
1) Organic Mexican Oaxaca - roasted medium. Tasting notes include: cocoa powder, almond.
2) Organic Honduras, La Gloria - roasted medium. Tasting notes include: sweet raspberry, caramel.

The Park Ridge Farmer's market is only days away!
We will be returning (of course) with a couple of new coffees this season: Organic Sumatra Aceh Ketiara and Kenyan AA Nyeri Eichamara - both wonderfully rich & flavorful. Our returning selections include our Organic Colombian (reg & decaf), and Ethiopian :)
And of course Ramona's delightful tea blends (Flower Power, Peachy Green, Berry White, Yerba Mate ...)

Lady of the Leaves special Holiday Teas are now available at Garden on the Run until Christmas. FESTIVITEA is a blend of organic black Assam tea with warm mulling spices - 50gm pouches are only $5. And Christmas Tree Flowering Tea is a chrysanthemum green tea which is both beautiful and tastey :) - 1 flower brews 5 cups, 4 flowers per pkg $10.
Both teas make a great stocking stuffer for your tea-loving friends and family!
