Dreams are coming true at the farm! Today we welcome Zeke the Zebra to the herd! My new 3 year old Zebra stallion! In hopes of not only domesticating him but ultimately to breed with to create what is called a Zorse! (It’s a real thing….lol)

Anyone that knows me, knows this is the challenge of a life time! Not only are Zebras different from horses because they are instinctively feril but males of course are worse!!!!

Did I forget to mention he is not halter broke!!! Life’s no fun if you don’t have dreams and schemes!!! I see a reality show in my future!!!

Apollo is a smoke black 6yr old Friesian Sporthorse gelding. He is a gentle giant standing approx. 16.3
He is big enough to carry any rider hunting and lives rugged trails. Enjoys learning new things and is a people pleaser that responds to a gentle encouragement versus a rough hand. He is very lite in the mouth. He is not for beginners because he needs a confident lite handed rider.

Apollo is broke to ride and drive! Has trail ridden and trail blazed in tough terrain, worked cows, and loves obstacle courses.

Cons: he has a wierd phobia of the stall mats by our hitching post, no matter how many times he overcomes his fear, he can never be too careful!
