This season of life feels different.
Yes, I’m a restaurateur.
Yes, I own a kitchen.
Yes, I create food people love.
But I’m realizing more and more… I’m actually building FOOD SYSTEMS.
I’m helping create sustainability for restaurants, nonprofits, communities, urban agriculture programs, and food entrepreneurs because food touches EVERYBODY.
This conversation at the Business of Food Summit really allowed me to speak from a deeper place about food sovereignty, sustainability, access, dignity, and what it really takes to create long-term impact in our communities.
Detroit has some of the most innovative people in the country when it comes to food systems and I’m honored to be part of the conversation.
