Top Hop Farms, Part 2!
The main reason for the trip yesterday was to bring back 6 pounds of just harvested Cascade whole hops, which will find its way into a "fresh hop" harvest beer, coming soon, to a brewery near you!

Top Hops Farm trip, part 1!
Yesterday morning we "wagged school", and drove out to Goodrich, to see our friend Sean at his hop farm. The Chinook bines were in the process of being processed, which was fun to watch, and the processing room smelled fantastic!
Sean bestowed on me a "sash of glory", in the form of a chunk of bine, heavy with fresh hops, which now decorates our tap room!
