Recently our VP Shelley had a chance to interview Brianna who she met through one of our accounts - Grandview Golf Course. We think she's amazing! She’s a talented entrepreneur who’s built her own path and knows a thing or two about making things happen. We asked her a few quick questions about work, life and, naturally, FKNG Vodka.

1. Give us the quick Brianna story – tell us a little about what you do and what you’ve built.

Brianna: I’ve been a photographer and business owner for over 13 years. I built Shoot Me Photography from the ground up, and I mainly shoot weddings, engagements and seniors. Photography has been a huge part of my life, and over the years it’s opened the door to a lot of other things I never really expected.
I’ve always had an interest in marketing and had some schooling in it, but building my own business is really where I learned how to put it all into practice. I had to learn how to market myself, build a brand, create content and use social media to actually grow a business. From there, I started helping other local businesses with their social media, content and marketing, and that’s become another big part of what I do.

More recently, photography kind of led me into the jewelry world. After being around so many engagements and weddings and obviously photographing a lot of rings, I became really interested in diamonds and jewelry. Now I’m a Luxury Jewelry Advisor with The Luxury Exchange, which has been really fun because it all ties together. I can help someone with the ring, photograph the engagement and then potentially photograph the wedding too. It’s been a really cool progression.

2. What's a rule you've never been afraid to break?

Brianna: I’d probably say my drive. If I decide I want to do something, I’m going to figure out how to make it happen. I’m not afraid to learn something new, put myself out there or try something that might not work the first time. I’ve built a lot of what I have by just jumping in, figuring it out and continuing to show up. I think that willingness to keep learning and pushing myself has probably been one of the biggest reasons I’ve been successful.

3. And because you’re rocking the FKNG Vodka shirt – what’s your favorite cocktail to drink with FKNG Vodka?

Brianna: I’d have to go with a mule. I love ginger and that little bit of spice it has. A little sweet, a little spicy, kind of like me. But when it’s FKNG, does it really matter what you mix it with? 😎

is excited to unveil an updated logo as we celebrate our 20th year of supporting both ends of the leash. A heartfelt thank you to Akers Designs for bringing our vision to life, and for continuing to volunteer your most precious asset to our nonprofit and the military working dog teams we serve - your time.

Our modern MWD team remains as the focal point. Previous versions of our logo featured a Labrador Retriever and a German Shepherd Dog. Our MWD has changed to a Belgian Malinois to reflect the breed’s prominence within the Department of War. The MWD is now looking toward its handler, attentively awaiting the next command while demonstrating complete trust in their partner. The handler remains focused on the path ahead, seeking out what lies in the distance, preparing to guide and reassure their partner. Together, they represent the unbreakable bond shared by every MWD team.
