Recently our VP Shelley had a chance to interview Brianna who she met through one of our accounts - Grandview Golf Course. We think she's amazing! Sheās a talented entrepreneur whoās built her own path and knows a thing or two about making things happen. We asked her a few quick questions about work, life and, naturally, FKNG Vodka.
1. Give us the quick Brianna story ā tell us a little about what you do and what youāve built.
Brianna: Iāve been a photographer and business owner for over 13 years. I built Shoot Me Photography from the ground up, and I mainly shoot weddings, engagements and seniors. Photography has been a huge part of my life, and over the years itās opened the door to a lot of other things I never really expected.
Iāve always had an interest in marketing and had some schooling in it, but building my own business is really where I learned how to put it all into practice. I had to learn how to market myself, build a brand, create content and use social media to actually grow a business. From there, I started helping other local businesses with their social media, content and marketing, and thatās become another big part of what I do.
More recently, photography kind of led me into the jewelry world. After being around so many engagements and weddings and obviously photographing a lot of rings, I became really interested in diamonds and jewelry. Now Iām a Luxury Jewelry Advisor with The Luxury Exchange, which has been really fun because it all ties together. I can help someone with the ring, photograph the engagement and then potentially photograph the wedding too. Itās been a really cool progression.
2. What's a rule you've never been afraid to break?
Brianna: Iād probably say my drive. If I decide I want to do something, Iām going to figure out how to make it happen. Iām not afraid to learn something new, put myself out there or try something that might not work the first time. Iāve built a lot of what I have by just jumping in, figuring it out and continuing to show up. I think that willingness to keep learning and pushing myself has probably been one of the biggest reasons Iāve been successful.
3. And because youāre rocking the FKNG Vodka shirt ā whatās your favorite cocktail to drink with FKNG Vodka?
Brianna: Iād have to go with a mule. I love ginger and that little bit of spice it has. A little sweet, a little spicy, kind of like me. But when itās FKNG, does it really matter what you mix it with? š
Cheers Brianna and to all the other amazing entrepreneurs out there!
