Question to Devin - What made you crazy enough to sign up for this race? Who suggested doing this race first?

Devin: What makes us crazy is that we share the desire to do challenging things. We both have been athletes our entire lives and are driven by physically and mentally daunting goals.

We had been friends for just about a year before we got our first training boat and got in it together. These types of shared goals can make or break your friendship, and this has solidified that we are like minded and have each other's backs.
