Goodness gracious, that's a lot of granola!!
This recipe wasn't one that came to us overnight, it has taken many (delicious) years to perfect. That blend of oats, dried fruits, seeds and our own maple syrup has changed through the years.
If you're like Jen, you love it on yogurt or mixed with M&M's to make trail mix. If you're like Aaron, you enjoy it on cottage cheese or as a little snack.

In case the heat over the last few days hasn't alerted you, spring is totally here.☀️ Our rhubarb was ready to pick and our first batch of jam is now in jars, just in time for Memorial Day weekend! The apple blossoms are also making an appearance around the farm further reminding us that planting season is almost here. 🌸

If you're desperate for some rhubarb jam for your holiday weekend, then we are excited to see you on Saturday in Belfast and Skowhegan 🤗🤗

April has been a busy month on the farm! Both Jennifer and Aaron celebrated birthdays, we celebrated our annual Easter Competition for the 6th year, and we saw the start of summer farmers market season!

Did you know, every Easter we host a competition over Easter weekend? This year our theme was cake! We had both sweet and savory cakes featured this year including meatloaf cake, banana cake, pancakes, and Smörgåstårta (Swedish Sandwich Cake). This year, pancakes took home the Easter trophy!

We are excited to welcome in the summer farmers market season! You can find us at Belfast and Skowhegan on Saturdays.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Snow has been falling and all creatures great and small have been cozied up waiting for this winter weather to blow over. On nice days you will find us hiking through the woods and enjoying the extra sunlight we have had lately. On those bitter cold days we are all next to the wood stove flipping through seed catalogs dreaming of spring.
Until then you know where to find us, eating dilly beans, dreaming of longer days, but enjoying this time for rest. Stay warm everyone.

Have you ever wondered what the Rise & Thyme farm crew gets up to during these cold winter months? When the farm starts to slow down, the nights feel long, the wind starts to bite at your cheeks, and we start drying our boots off by the wood stove; the work keeps going. We don't just run a farm, we also run a construction business!
Like most farmers we are not comfortable sitting still and find plenty to keep us busy all winter. Sometimes the farm hands even get lucky and find time with Aaron to put trim up around some windows (it helps that he's their dad). Jennifer can still be found at the Belfast United Farmers Market every Saturday selling that taste of warm summer days. If you keep an eye out in February you will even see some new friendly faces at the market!
