We know many of you love bringing your pets along and we appreciate your understanding. Because Lafayette Foods is a grocery store, Michigan food-safety rules don’t allow pets inside, even in carriers. Qualifying service animals are permitted, including service animals in training with a trainer or raiser. Thank you for helping us keep Lafayette Foods safe and comfortable for everyone. Customers see a store. We see everything it takes behind the scenes to keep it clean, stocked, organized, and ready to serve the community every day.

Running a neighborhood grocery store takes a lot of work, a lot of people, and a lot of attention to the little things.

To every customer who continues to support Lafayette Foods, thank you for being part of this journey with us. We truly appreciate every visit, every purchase, and every bit of support.

Entrepreneur check-in 👇 Tag your business below and tell me what you’re most proud of. Let’s celebrate the people out here building something, serving their communities, and keeping small business alive.

For me, it’s being blessed enough to wake up every morning, unlock these doors, turn on that OPEN sign, and serve the people of Detroit.

Small business isn’t easy. There are good days, hard days, long days, and days that test everything in you. But every person who walks through our doors becomes part of our story.

I’m proud that we’re still here, still serving, still building relationships, and still doing our best to take care of the community that has supported us.

That means more to me than I can put into words.
