This girl is only fitting to appreciate next in the lineup after this weekend! She’s the mother of Kolts STSF 26’ Reserve overall & the 5-1 littermate gilt pictured we were fortunate enough to offer as a lease gilt to the Everitt family this past fall! 100-5 keeps them neat & tidy, packs power up high and is one of the easiest to keep fresh when fed right!

If you’ve followed our program, you know making power females & continuing to build an elite maternal line has always been a priority! It takes a lot for us to keep one out of a gilts first litter but this third generation gilt knocked it out of the park this fall and her litter in the crates today is no different! This keeper gilt will get her own post with her last picture before she hits the sow pens and her pile of winnings from this spring but she’s to good to not give a sneak peek of! This sow stamps them with repeatable elite maternal power that is correct, flexible & flat out motors! They’ve got a touch of attitude but what good one doesn’t, if this gilts video doesn’t prove this sows capability and get you fired up I don’t know what will but as the builder of this 4th generation creature…we’re pretty dang excited & it’s safe to say her and her mother will be around for a long time!

It’s been a BIG WEEK here at Bautsch Showpigs! We placed a barrow in the top 5 of a killer class at Houston, loaded a great set of females & have 50 babies in the crates with a couple more to go…. These girls give us a run for our money & we still hate picturing breds just as much as babies but blessed is truly an understatement 👏🏼
