Its that time... ✨️

Time for the Hunger Banquet!

The Dewey Key Club will be hosting our annual Hunger Banquet soon, a transformative, sit-down dinner on world hunger and specifically its impacts on children. Students will give a presentation detailing hunger on a global, national, statewide, and local level.

This is a cause we are very passionate about, so in addition to raising funds for ourselves and club-related activities, we will be donating 25% of the proceeds to Oxfam America and another 25% to a local charity. That's a full 50% we are giving away! 🙀

The Hunger Banquet is on October 19th from 6-8pm at the Dewey Student Center. Tickets cost $10 or $7 for a group of 8 or more. We accept cash and check, and you can purchase a ticket by speaking to Mrs.Thoreson or a key club member. Tickets are also available at the event. If you are unable to attend but would still like to support, you are able to sponsor a student going.

We have been hard at work planning this event, and we would really love to see you there. 🤍

(And if you have any recommendations on local charities we should donate to, feel free to comment! 🔑✨️)
