I’m so bummed, we have very few blooms on our fruit trees because it’s been such a warm winter! Fruit trees need so many chill hours (temps at freezing or below) in order to produce fruit and that has not happened. Not sure if I will be opening my farm stand this summer 😞☹️

Did you know….you can take a tomato at the end of the season, I did this after the first Fall frost and the tomato was still green, slice it up, stick it in a pot of dirt and keep it watered throughout the winter in a greenhouse or someplace where frost won’t get to it and you get this! Many many tomato plants right now! I’m holding off putting them in the ground until I know the chance of frost has passed but I’ve never been this ahead with my starts ever.

Meet ( or meat) …..Cow, I can’t name her 😩 I just can’t! She’s getting a boyfriend delivered today and no there won’t be any babies since he’s fixed 😂

Trees are in bloom wayyyy too early! We’ve had 90+ degrees days lately and I’m worried about the late freeze that we always get usually in April sometimes in May. Just in case that happens we have smudge pots and heaters that my poor husband gets up in the middle of the night to stoke the fire, we’ve had to do this a few times so we have a crop.

As you can see by the weeds we use ZERO pesticides!
