# # # Keeping Our Community Safe 🚒🚜
We were happy to host the DeWitt Area Firefighters Association at Felzke Farms for an evening of hands-on training with combines and other farm equipment.
The firefighters spent the evening learning about the equipment, identifying areas where a fire could potentially start, and getting familiar with how to safely access different parts of the machinery in the event of an emergency. They also discussed other important farm safety measures and ways to respond quickly and safely when working around agricultural equipment.
We are **so happy to host our local firefighters and even happier to see their eagerness to learn!** Their commitment to understanding farm equipment and being prepared helps keep our farmers, families, firefighters, and entire community safer.
