The old IH 656 is over 50 years old and still earning its keep around the farm. After developing a few holes in the gas tank, Farmer John is prepping new metal to repair the tank and give it a little more life.

🍅 Garden Update! 🍅

This tomato is coming along nicely and won't be long before it's ready for the plate! Now we're just waiting on another favorite to arrive — our bacon should be back from the processor soon. 🥓

Nothing says summer quite like a fresh tomato sandwich piled high with thick-cut bacon. 😋

Tell me you drive a farm truck without telling me you drive a farm truck…
5 speed 4x4, mud on the floorboard, enough rattles to qualify as background music, and the A/C no longer works. Oh yeah, I think that's the charger for Farmer John's old flip phone (that he still uses). 😂

Around here, if you can drive this, you can probably back a trailer, dodge potholes, and haul feed all before breakfast.

Authorized farmers include Hill Crest Farm and All Good Things Farm.

Program benefits can be spent starting June 1 for eligible seniors and applications are open now.

We've been enjoying the rain over the last several days, storms and all. We have water back in our well again and it's nice to not hear crunching when you walk across the grass.
