Oooh, milk salt!

Yesterday we asked, “Which Milk Salt Soak are you?” Today, we’re taking a closer look at our Pink Himalayan Milk Salt.

This beautiful bath soak combines Pink Himalayan sea salt, Epsom salt, baking soda, powdered goat’s milk, and jojoba oil for a wonderfully indulgent addition to your bath.

The salts create that classic mineral-soak experience, while goat’s milk and jojoba oil add a creamy, luxurious touch to the bath water.

Sometimes self-care can be as simple as running a warm bath, adding your favorite Milk Salt, and giving yourself permission to relax for a little while.

It's that time again!

I forgot to ask Farmer John to check on my figs while I was out of town for a couple of days but they finally started coming in. Most are a little smaller than in previous years but after the late frost we had, I'm a little surprised they are doing as well as they are.

It's my last day of vacation and I have a decision to make. Should I make preserves or just eat fresh?

Had to make a pit stop this morning so Farmer John could check the electric brakes on the River Street market rig. He is sporting the new PG Farmers market merch. Please remember that our Prince George location will be cash only today. Come on out and show him some love.

Fair season is coming up, and this picture always makes me smile. 💙🌽

Back in 2015, I managed to convince Farmer John to enter something in our county fair! 😂

He took some of his yellow dent corn, entered it in the competition, and wouldn’t you know it… he brought home a BLUE RIBBON! 🥇🌽

Now, if you know Farmer John, you know he’s not one to make a fuss about things like ribbons or bragging rights. He’d much rather just grow the corn, feed the animals, and get on with the next job. I have to admit, I was pretty proud of him—and maybe just a little proud of myself for convincing him to enter. 😉

Ten-plus years later, that blue ribbon and this picture are still a fun reminder that sometimes you just have to enter the fair and see what happens!
