Situated on 45 acres of rolling hills and woods on the banks of the scenic Looking Glass River, Fox Brush Farm is heaven for both horse and rider. Fox Brush Farm offers hunter/jumper riding lessons, horse training, boarding and horse showing for riders of all ages and abilities. All horses have daily turnout. Riders have options of riding indoors, in the large outdoor ring, across rolling fields,

or through the mature oak and maple forests, following trails that horses and riders have enjoyed for decades. Fox Brush Farm is centrally located in mid-Michigan, just minutes from major freeways, on the northwest side of Lansing.

We had a celebration in honor of one of our favorites, Ellie Kooney. Ellie has grown up riding at FBF, following in the footsteps of her Mom Lynn and leading the way for sister Cady. From ponies to big jumps, great successes as a starter at shows and to being such a huge help at FBF wearing many hats, we all are grateful she is part of our barn family.
Ellie graduated from the prestigious STAMP school at UofM. She has been job searching and has accepted an offer from Disney in Orlando‼️Very exciting!!! We had a celebration in honor of her success AND to send her off with love and encouragement ❤️ All the best Ellie and we’ll see you again soon.

FBF riders attended the LEHS show at Meadowview Farm, Lowell, MI. Caroline, Landyn and Hannah had a good outing 😁
Bittersweet though as this was Hannah’s last show before heading to college. Hannah has leased the quirky and wonderful Dots All Right for a few years and they have developed quite a good understanding….they have shown in all divisions along the way; this show had them in Beginner Jumpers, Low Jumper, Hunt-and-Go Hunter Derby & the Mini-Medal where she earned a 6th!

WOW‼️ We had a spectacularly great time with our riders and riders & trainers from throughout MI with our 2-show LEHS series at Waterloo Hunt Club. It was Christmas-in-July and we are proud of all the things we did to make the venue shine with the theme.
Blue ribbon winners received a Christmas present to go along with that ribbon, a Horsemanship/Sportsmanship Award was given each show, and the Hunter Derby each week was offered to 2’ and 2’6 riders. A rousing game of RINGO first show and the Great Ornament Hunt week 2 let not only riders but their siblings, parents and friends join in. Then throw in a Trainers’ Equitation class with students coaching their trainers and it’s all great fun.
