If it's Wednesday, it's the FarmHers Market at Miss Effie's Country Flowers and Garden Stuff in Donahue from 4 to 7.

Prairie Belle Flowers will have some "canned" flower arrangements, see photo, farm fresh eggs from our sweet and pretty chickens, our Kaleidoscope lettuce mix and some peony bouquets.

Some crazy weather for May 2. I woke up to 28 degrees outside this morning. Luckily all the plants were tucked in and safe from frost.

The temps are low and the stress is high for this flower farmer!

I still have a couple of openings for Salad Class on Sunday May 3.

Dine on an interesting salad ... taste different oils and vinegars. We make 4 or 5 different salad dressings, pickled onions and caramelized nuts.
