There’s a certain amount of dreaming...or you can call it delusion... required to start a wh***ey company. You have to believe in what you’re building long before there’s any proof it’s going to work.

What I didn’t fully understand was how much endurance that belief would require. Wh***ey moves slowly, businesses rarely do, and somehow you have to learn to live in both worlds at the same time.

Highline started as an idea of what American wh***ey could be when curiosity and blending came before convention. Years later, we’re still learning, still taking risks, and still convinced there’s something incredible on the other side of the next barrel.

Maybe that’s the real formula: a little luck, a lot of work, and just enough delusion to keep going.

Turns out opposites make pretty great drinking partners. 🥃

Our new Highline Bourbon brings together high rye bourbon with wheated bourbon, creating a blend that has plenty of character without asking you to work too hard for it. The rye brings the spice and structure. The wheated bourbon rounds things out with softness and a touch of sweetness. At 96 proof, it lands right where we wanted it: flavorful, balanced and incredibly easy to enjoy.

And apparently the judges agreed.

This one also earned Highline a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 🥇

We love big, complex wh***ey, but we also believe a great bourbon should make you want another pour. This is our take on a more approachable American bourbon, created with the same blending philosophy that goes into every Highline wh***ey.
