Our very own Patrick Schloss painted this mural, and we couldn’t be prouder or more grateful. His work brings so much character and soul our space.

We believe in doing things by hand, caring about the details and creating a space that reflects the people who bring it to life. Patrick, thank you for putting so much heart into this place!

Check out the amazing process in creating this piece in his Instagram!

Real sourdough bagels take time… a lot of time.

Ruthie + Maggie are doing things the old-school way: naturally aged sourdough and plenty of care from start to finish. No shortcuts, just good ingredients, hard work and a whole lot of heart.

And the results? AMAZING. Find them at Notable Cafe every Friday + Saturday for Bagel Days!

22 years in the making!

That’s how long Maggie and Keith have known each other. They have shared a love for the kitchen, local food and doing things the old-school way: from scratch, with heart.

Now they’re back cooking together and we couldn’t be happier to have Keith here!

This weekend, we’re cheering on our own Caroline as she takes on the 2026 Chicago Marathon!

Caroline is running in support of the The American Cancer Society , a cause that’s deeply personal to her. As a five-time cancer survivor, she’s running to give back, honor her journey, remember those we’ve lost and support everyone still fighting.

Please join us in wishing Caroline an amazing race this weekend! If you’re able, consider donating to her fundraiser to help support cancer research, patient support and a future without cancer.

We’re so proud of you, Caroline!!! We’ll be cheering you on every step of every mile! Link in our stories!
