It was an early morning on the farm as the first batch of chickens for the year headed to the processor.
Our motto is "the chickens should have one bad day"-
And if we are doing our jobs right, processing day should be it.
I once had a family member comment that she could never raise chickens to send them off to processing.
For us though, we look at it as taking ownership for the lifestyle we choose.
We eat meat, so the best thing that we can do is make sure that meat is raised in a healthy and clean environment, sustainably aligned with Mother Nature, and ensure they only have one bad day.

Orders will open Friday, June 19th for the first batch of the year.
