It’s about that time to say goodbye to one of our bucklings as he’s getting too old to stay with the girls. He’s been a great little guy and we’d love to see him go to a good herd.

We rotational graze all of our animals with no vaccines, no grain feeding, and no wormer use. He is grass fed and already electric fence trained.

His mom is a Boer goat and his dad was a dappled Boer buck, giving him some really nice genetics behind him.

A few weeks ago one of our hens decided she wanted to sit on an egg, so we let her keep one and see what she would do. She’s barely left that nesting box since. Today all that waiting finally paid off and she officially became a mom. 🐣
