DIY Farrier? Sometimes when your friends have a spicy little pony that needs his feet done it takes a whole crew!
We went and visited another homestead just down the road from us to see a good friend and some new friends. Small world we live in, this family moved from CO just after we did. From the same town my grandparents are in which was not far from me, then they just so happen to be 30 minutes from us now here in Texas, So cool!! We also got all our pups together for a play date💙

Yall we got 3 more babies hatched out this morning and several more working their way out!! Im excited to see what these ones look like as they mature!
If you’re near the Diana, TX area I still have 6 straight run 8 week old chicks left up for grabs!!
🔟 each!

All hatched within I do not bring in outside birds for bio security! No sicknesses here all clean healthy birds 🤗

***excuse the mud, we had 3 days heavy rain***😭🤦🏻‍♀️

Life on the homestead lately, were almost in full swing summer in our neck of the woods, we’ve added two new faces recently. Buster - the mini donkey and Jack Jack, a rescue horse who has turned out to be a walking angel. We’ve gotten him the TLC he needs and will continue to fatten him up and let him live the remainder of his years out here with us on the homestead. Also had to throw in a picture of Ollys daily cat nap on the hay bales🥰

Spring means lots of eggs and lots of chicks in the circus coop Matt Raney built for our homestead🙏🏼
Stay tuned for the new paint makeover the coop is getting soon and look at all them sweet babies🥰

Mamas are rotating on who cares for babes while the others stretch their legs and leave the coop to go hunt for bugs and soak up this beautiful weather we’re having. Hoping in the next few days the mamas will venture out with the chicks for them to see the outside world. They’ve been very good about keeping them away from the exit door😂
