Day 4, our 4H dairy club rocked the promotion contest! So many great speeches and costumes. It also rained, which got some of the milk cows mooing.

Day 3, the milk cows are here and settled in. The opening parade was quick because of the rain but it was fun seeing our 4H friends as part of the royalty. Michael Mcswain got to clipping while the rest of the bucket brigade waited for the inevitable.

Day 2 and we're finished setting up. Milk cows arrive tomorrow, but the heifers and a few small deer are here.

Friday and into early Saturday morning at the Montgomery County Ag Fair, MD. Princess Hay-Ya and Cheesebacca had a blast promoting dairy, the kids enjoyed the annual after-hours water balloon fight and we even found time for a few rides. It might take several days to recover from this week ...just in time for MD State Fair!

Long day today at the Montgomery County Ag Fair, MD! Everyone worked their butts and udders off. Thanks to all the older cousins and 4H friends for their help. Ryan Zimmerman, Cory Zimmerman, Michael Mcswain, Sean MacKenzie....you guys ROCK!

Day 6 at the Montgomery County Ag Fair, MD was a good day. A big thanks to Mrs. Creek.
No rest for the old parents and the weary kids.....on to the 4H show.

Day 3 at Montgomery County Ag Fair, MD and the weather was beautiful! Lots of friends and family visiting. Cow family could not be happier.

Day 2 at the Montgomery County Ag Fair, MD and the calves and heifers are here. After a bath and dinner, everyone was ready to lay down. The thunderstorm cooled things off. Hard to believe it was 110 in the barns this time last year. Spider web photo with Beauty on her morning walk was to good to not post. She'll be here tomorrow.
