I know it has been a while since my last post, but I am here with some exciting news and updates to share!
First off, I'm super excited to announce that our most anticipated chicken breed is finally available! Over the weekend, we hatched out 25 adorable little Vorwerk chicks! They are curious, healthy and active and ready to go to their new homes, so please message me if you are interested in some 😊
Secondly, as I'm sure some of you have noticed, we are no longer Slaton & Sonday's Hilltop Hens - we've rebranded!
We decided at the start of our homesteading journey to only focus on one big venture at a time, the first of which happened to be conserving unique, rare and endangered chicken breeds. We are very passionate about raising and breeding chickens and don't see ourselves stopping anytime soon, but we also have plans to expand our farming operations beyond just poultry! For this reason, we decided to choose a new name that doesn't just limit us to being known as chicken farmers.
It took quite a bit of time and consideration, but we finally settled on Lazy Sonday's as our new name and will be using it across all of our farm operations to brand our products and offerings, which are currently Lazy Sonday's Rare Chicks and Lazy Sonday's Farm Fresh Eggs 😊 hopefully yall get as much of a kick out of it as we do!
To wrap up this post, I just want to say thank you to those of you who have stuck around despite the lack of updates. I will be putting a lot more effort into posting news and info and creating meaningful content for yall to enjoy.
