Update
It's a ladybug. It took 12 hours to get its spots.

Can anyone identify this bug. Possibly an Asian lady beetle but with no spots. It stinks like a ladybug.

Does anyone ever wonder why a farmers home is not picture perfect like the southern living magazine articles. Here is just one example, it was starting to sprinkle rain when you arrive home after purchasing a large bag of animal bedding. It is qu**ky shoved thru the nearest door, which is the family room. Next day, you realize the only way to move it is to reduce its size. So you proceed to fill 5 gallon buckets and carry them to the barn. You notice the chicken nests need new bedding, and under the roost area needs cleaning and replacing with new bedding so you begin. It's 2 hours later and all you want to do is shower and sit in a recliner with an ice cold glass of sweet tea. And then you realize you forgot to carry the original bag (smaller now) of bedding from the family room to the barn.

Is anyone interested in starting an asparagus bed from seedling plants. The variety is Jersey Knight. Comment back, message a quantity and phone number for contact info. At this growing stage all you need is a big pot or small raised bed and then transplant the roots late fall or early spring before growth begins.
