It’s market day at Farmers on the Square! Find us on the Square in downtown Carlisle today from 3 to 7 PM.

Our mixed bouquets are packed with seasonal beauty and feature some of the final peonies of the season. If you've been waiting to bring home peonies, now is your chance before they're gone for another year.

We're also having a $1 zinnia seedling sale! 🌱

Zinnias are one of the easiest and most rewarding flowers you can grow in a cutting garden. They thrive in summer heat and provide armloads of colorful blooms from mid-summer until frost. Plant them now and enjoy fresh flowers for months to come.

Peony season is finally here.

This year’s season looks a little different than recent years, though. The late freeze a few weeks ago caused damage to many developing peony buds, and like many local growers and farmers, we’re seeing lighter harvests this spring.

Even so, the resilience of the peony feels especially meaningful this year. Peony plants are known to live for 50–100 years, and so many of you have shared stories of still enjoying peonies your grandmothers planted decades ago. We have our own patch of peonies from Grandma Lois here on our farm.

There’s something beautiful about a flower that keeps returning year after year- through hard winters, late frosts, and unpredictable seasons. A reminder that setbacks don’t always mean the end of something beautiful. Sometimes they’re simply part of a much longer story of resilience, growth, and returning again. 🌸

In years past, we’ve offered a full Cut Flower Garden Kit — but this season we’re trying something a little more fun and customizable. 🌸
This year at market, you’ll be able to build your own cut flower garden! Pick your favorite seedlings, plant them at home, and enjoy homegrown bouquets all summer long.

Just a little reminder, this Sunday is Mother’s Day. 💕

Our farmstand will be open Thursday through Sunday from 9 am till 7 pm. We will be stocked with some of my farm fresh favorites-

After that, we close for the season.
