On behalf of our family, we would like to sincerely thank each and every person who had a hand in helping us yesterday as well as the days and weeks to come. Thank you to the first responders for their quick response and tireless effort to keep the fire contained: Dimmitt VFD, Sunnyside VFD, Nazareth VFD, & Hart VFD. Thank you to , Garrett Thompson, and Doyle Schulte for their helping hands as well piece it all back together and sort through the damage. Thank you to Danny & Slade Ge**er, as well as Leroy Schulte for donating hours to moving and placing calves. Thank you also to Doyle Schulte and Todd Hatla for loaning us your trailers. Thank you Deer Creek Calf Feeders for receiving and caring for the calves whose hutches were lost and needed immediate attention. Thank you also to the truck drivers that are getting them there safely and quickly. We are so thankful for each and every one of our employees who have worked to protect calves and restore operation. Adrian! You are an unbelievable asset to this business. You have been instrumental in organizing our recovery efforts. We truly appreciate you. After spending the day yesterday battling fire and smoke to rescue calves every one of our employees showed up to work today. They are loyal, strong, and an example of grit. To our beloved customers, who put their cattle in our care and are working with us through this setback, we are thankful for each of you. Our care and attention for each calf will continue as we sort through the aftermath of this tragedy. We are cleaning. We are rebuilding. We are not giving up. This is our livelihood. It’s a place where blood sweat and tears have been poured into every aspect of this operation from the very beginning. As we move forward in the days ahead, we hope you all know the extent of our gratitude. We are grateful for this community. Tomorrow the sun will rise, and so will we.
